8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1 1/4 cup water
2 cups biscuit baking mix
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
1 Tablespoon instant minced onion
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Method:
- Mix tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, oregano and water in 1 quart saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly, about 5 minutes.
- Heat waffle iron. Mix dry milk and 1 1/4 cup water.
- Beat in rest of ingredients until smooth. Pour batter from cup onto center of hot waffle iron. Cook until steaming stops.
- Remove waffles carefully with fork. Top with sauce.
