Frappucinno (Iced Coffee)

Oh Starbucks frappuccino how I heart thee so, BUT I AM NOT FEELING THAT JACKED UP PRICE RIGHT NOW!! Having a Starbucks addiction is a serious thang! My poison is the simple, good ol frappuccino. No bells, no whistles. Luckily if I can't make it to a Starbucks I can go buy one of those overpriced little jars (which always has a hint of that bottled taste) oooooooooooooooooooor I CAN MAKE IT MYSELF!! First let me say thank you to Georgia Wright who was so kind to send me this recipe. You have saved me SO much money girl! This iced coffee version always does the trick when I'm having a Starbucks frappuccino craving. It's smooth, creamy with just the right amount of coffee kick and sweetness. It makes you just wanna grab a magazine, kick your feet up and sip away. A pitcher of this stuff stays in my refrigerator. It is soooo good on a hot day and my company is always impressed when I serve up this simple little drink. And the coffee ice cubes is just the cherry on top!!

Frappuccino (Iced Coffee)

Step 1) Pour 6 cups of very cold water into your coffee maker.

Step 2.) Add 12 Tablespoons of your favorite coffee. I use Folgers French Vanilla. (Yeah I know, 12 Tablespoon is a lot! But the coffee needs to be super strong.)And you can use the left over grounds to make my glowing face and body scrubhttp://tr.im/kk37! See there, all is not wasted!

Step 3.) Pour 1 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk into a blender. You can use half the can if you don't like your iced coffee sweet. I like mines sweet and creamy.

Step 4.) When the coffee is done brewing pour it into the blender.

Step 5.) Use the leftover coffee to make ice cubes. That way your drink will stay super cold without getting that watered down taste.

Step 6.) Blend until well mixed. It will be frothy on top when well blended.

Step 7.) Now stick in the refrigerator until cold (which will take forever it seems). I sometimes stick mine in the freezer if I'm in a hurry to get it cold.

When it's nice and chilled and your coffee cubes are ready, just pop a few in a glass and pour in that yummy iced coffee.

Enjoy!!!!!!

*Tip* If after making this you find that it is too sweet for your taste, just pour a cup of water in your coffee maker and brew up some more coffee to dilute the sweetness. You can also use the left over grounds to make more coffee for some coffee cubes. I know some people say it's a no-no to brew the same grounds twice, but I find it works jut fine with this.
