Lamb Satay with Satay sauce Recipe


Why go out for Thai Lamb Satay when you can make it at home? These delicious Thai-style Lamb satay are made of grilled or barbecued Lamb and served with satay sauce

Preparation time : 30 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes

Ingredients
  • 750 g lamb, tender, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1½ cups water or 375 ml
  • 1 cube MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon
  • ½ cup peanut butter or 130 g
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • * 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • * 1½ tablespoons coriander leaves, finely chopped
Preparation
  • Thread the lamb pieces onto skewers and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a medium saucepan, add ginger and cumin, stir over medium heat for 1 minute.
  • Add water, MAGGI® Chicken Bouillon cubes, peanut butter lemon juice and chili sauce. Bring to boil and simmer uncovered for 4-5 minutes.
  • Grill or barbecue lamb skewers until cooked as desired and serve with Satay sauce.
