What should you buy organic?

Here is a list from Martha Stewart  that lists the "Dirty Dozen" and the "Clean 15" fruits and veggies.   The Dirty Dozen contains the most pesticide residue.  It is worth buying organic for these items: peaches, apples, bell peppers, celery, nectarines, strawberries, cherries, kale, lettuce, imported grapes, carrots and pears.  The Clean 15 have the lowest amount of pesticide residue, so if you choose to buy conventional produce, stick to these: onions, avocados, corn, pineapples, mangoes, asparagus, sweet peas, kiwifruits, cabbages, eggplants, papayas, watermelons, broccoli, tomatoes and sweet potatoes.
