In Bread Machine:
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 tsp dry yeast
Set for "dough cycle".
- Dough may be halved for two loaves, or you can just make one big loaf.
- Roll dough out on floured surface into a rectangle, then roll it up to make a loaf.
- Slit top of loaf with a sharp non-serrated knife, about 1" apart.
- Place on greased baking sheet and let rise 1 hour in warm room.
- Brush on egg wash and bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 mins.
