I am so excited as I write this, of course potatoes are a staple in our meal times and my children look at me like I have forgotten something when bringing a potato-less meal to the table, but the excitement reaches fever pitch when I set eyes on the first batch of jersey royals.
Waiting for them to cook is lie an eternity, especially when the four of us like nothing more than eating them straight from their derained pan with a knob of butter & some sea salt sprinkled ontop.
I have not tried Tesco jersey royals before, but when seeing these tiny little beauties I could not resist on buying them, even though somewhat expensive at £2.99 for the small bag.
It made me think of some of the other great potato recipes that we have quite often, incuding some salads and so thought that this week I would make as many great potato meals as possible.
