Hara Bhara Kabab is delicious and spicy Indian starter. Which contains green vegetables and paneer. That means it is a good source of vitamins and calcium.

Cooking time - 10 minutes
Ingredients to make Hara Bhara Kabab:
Spinach leaves | : | 1 bunch |
Green peas | : | 1 cup |
Potatoes | : | 6 |
Green chillies (crushed) | : | 4-5 |
Paneer | : | ½ cup |
Onion | : | 1 |
Roasted jeera powder | : | 1 tea spoon |
Dry mango powder | : | 1 tea spoon |
Lime juice | : | 1 tea spoon |
Garam masala | : | 1 tea spoon |
Finely chopped coriander | : | ½ cup |
Bread crumbs | : | ½ cup |
Oil for deep-frying | ||
Salt to taste |
- Boil and mash the potatoes and green peas.
- Boil washed spinach leaves without water. Grind coarsly.
- Mix to gather the mashed potatoes,green peas,spinach leaves,paneer,chopped onion,green chillies,coriander leaves and all dry masalas. Add salt and lime juice.
- Shape into balls,roll into bread crumbs,and deep fry in hot oil. You can shallow fry also.
- Serve hot Bhara Kabab with coriander-mint chutney.

Coriander leaves | : | ½ bunch |
Mint leaves | : | ¼ bunch |
Onion | : | 1 |
Sugar | : | 1 tea spoon |
Garlic | : | 6-8 cloves |
Lime juice to taste | ||
Salt to test |
Method to make Coriander-Mint Chutney:
Grind all ingredients together to a fine pest with some water.
