Learn, how to make veg.roll - a spicy starter from vegetables
This recipe is made out of so many vegetables. Which are good for health, paneer is also added to it so veg.roll is calcium rich also.
Serves - 6
Preparation time - 30 minutes
cooking time - 10 minutes
Ingredients to make veg. rolls:
Potatoes | : | 8 - 10 |
Crumbled paneer | : | 200 gram |
Finally chopped capsicum | : | 1 small |
Grated carrot | : | 1 small |
Finally chopped onion | : | 1 |
Boiled and mashed green peas | : | 1 cup |
Crushed ginger | : | 1/2 inch |
Crushed green chillies | : | 2 – 3 |
Red chilly powder | : | 1 tea spoon |
Black pepper powder | : | 1 tea spoon |
Chopped coriander leaves | : | ½ cup |
Butter | : | 2 table spoon |
Bread slices | : | 2 |
Bread crumbs | : | ½ cup |
Oil for deep frying | ||
Salt to test | ||
- Fry chopped onion in butter, add carrot, ginger and capsicum and fry for 1 minute. Now add crusher green chillies and green peas. Mix well.
- Add paneer, salt and black pepper powder stir and fry for 4 – 5 minutes.
- Let it cool at room temp. after adding chopped coriander.
- Boil potatoes and mesh when hot. Add salt and red chilly powder. Soak the bread slices in water and squeeze out excess water. Crumble them and add to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
- Take some of the potato mixture, flatten on your palm and put about 1 table spoon of feeling on it. Close well, shape in to the rolls.
- Roll in to breadcrumbs for coating.
- Deep fry veg.roll in hot oil.
- Serve with tomato ketch up.
