- 1/2 cup broken wheat
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 slit green chilli,chopped
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 1/4 cup carrot cubes
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tsp oil
- salt to taste
- For The Garnish
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
Clean and wash the broken wheat thoroughly. Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add mustard seeds.
When they cackle, onion, green pepper and add ginger and saute until the onions turn transparent.
Green peas, carrots, broken wheat and 3 to 4 minutes add salt and sauté.
Pressure cook for 1 half cup of water and add 1 ct.
Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
