- Wheat Flour 4 cups
- Chana Dal 1/4 cup
- Black Pepper 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
Knead a few pinches of salt and enough water tight with some wheat flour in the dough.
Cover dough with wet kitchen towel for half an hour rest.
Cook chana dal in a pot, with just enough water to cover lentils.
Cooked just to the team and should be able to hold its shape.
Gram dal cooked, drain excess water and pat dry.
Mortar and pestle, mash gram dal, black pepper and salt together into a fine powder.
Alternatively, use a spice blender to grind everything together.
Repeat the same with the remaining wheat flour.
Heat a flat griddle over medium heat, add a teaspoon of oil and spread all over the griddle.
Place the fried bread on hot griddle and turn golden.
Add a teaspoon of oil on the raw side, turn it on and cook the other side.
Repeat with remaining bread.
Serve hot with parathas and chickpea salad.
Note: If you want to make you fat, can breads.
