Learn how to make Palak Paneer Paratha.
As we all know parathas are well known break fast option for Indians. Here in this recipe it's a very healthy and stomach feeler version of traditional paratha. Palak Paneer Paratha contains spinach and cottage cheese along with cheese, butter, wheat flour and soya good ness also. Means a helthy break fast with the goodness of iron, calcium and vitamins also.
Preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Serves - 4 person
Ingredients to make Palak Paneer Paratha:
For outer layer - dough:
2 cups wheat flour
2tea spoon soybean flour
2 table spoon curd
1 cup chopped spinach
or
1/2 cup spinach pure
2 table spoon oil
Salt to taste
Butter to shallow fry
For feeling:
2 cups crumbled paneer
1 cup finely chopped onion
Salt to taste
4 - 5 green chilly finely chopped
1/2 cup coriander finely chopped
2 tab.e spoon grated cheese ( opt.)
Method to make Palak Paneer Paratha:
For outer layer:
- Mix all the ingredients of outer layer and make soft dough for paratha.
- If you are using spinach pure add water as required, and if chopped spinach is used make it with plane water. Knit properly and keep a side.
For feeling:
- Mix all the ingredients very lightly, keep a side.
- Roll 2 small equal size paratha from dough. Spread feeling over one and cover it with another. Use water to seal parathas.
- Repeat the same process for rest.
- Shallow fry paratha on a non stick griddle - tava at medium flame with butter.
- Hot and healthy Palak Paneer Paratha is ready to serve. Serve it with plane curd.
Tips:
- If you are using 1 kg. of wheat flour it will be ideal to mix 100 gm. soybean flour in it.
- For making spinach gravy take raw chopped spinach instead of blanched palakh it will be more healthy.
