Learn how to make wonton - a very well known Chinese recipe.
Here is a home made recipe of Wonton, which is loved by everybody. It contains sprouted beans and vegetables also, so good for health. And of course very good in taste. It is known as Chinese samosa also.
Preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Serves - 4 person
Ingredients to make Wonton:
For stiffing:
1/2 packet spaghetti
250 gram cabbage - finely chopped
100 gram carrot - finely chopped
4 - 5 green chilies
1 tea spoon crushed ginger
1 onion - finely chopped
50 gram sprouted mung
4 - 5 cloves crushed garlic
100 gram chopped coriander
1 table spoon soy sauce
Salt to taste
A pinch aaji no motto (opt.)
For outer layer:
400 gram self rising flour
2 table spoon corn flour
1 tea spoon lemon juice
2 table spoon oil
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
To serve with:
Chilly tomato sauce

Method to make Wonton:
For outer layer:
- Mix all the ingredients of outer layer and make stiff dough from it with the help of water. Cover with wet thin cloth and keep a side.
For stuffing:
- Cut spaghetti in small pieces and boil them in salted water.
- Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, chilly and ginger paste in it and fry for a moment. Now add onion, carrot, capsicum, cabbage and mung. Sprinkle aaji no motto and salt over it cook for 2 minutes at high flame. Add soy sauce and spaghetti. Mix well.
- Let it cool at room temperature.
For making Wonton:
- Make small balls from dough and roll puris from them, now stuff stuffing material in it and give them wonton shape. Deep fry them in hot oil at medium flame.
- Serve hot wonton with chilly tomato sauce.
