“Gajar ka Halwa” could be every one's choise.Atleast the people i know they love to eat it any time. I am sharing here simple recipe that a child too can prepare easily. i hope you will give me feed back after trying this...
Ingredients:
Carrots: 1 kg
Milk: 1 litre
Cardamom seeds: 1 teaspoon
Oil: 3 tablespoons
Raisins(kishmish): 2 tablespoons
Almonds: 2 tablespoons
Pistachios: 2 tablespoons
Water: 3/4 cup
Sugar: 450 grams

Preparation of gajjar ka halwa :
Clean & grate carots. Dip the raisins in water for 35 minutes. wash out and crumb the nuts. Add water to boil, when it starts boiling put the grated carrots. Cook for 5-7 minutes.

Add the milk. Cook on a low heat for 1 hour stirring infrequently. Put sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar has dissolved and all the milk has been soak up.
Add ghee and be uptight for 2-3 minutes. Add the slightly crushed cardamoms and the raisins. Mix well.
Remove the gajjar ka halwa from heat and put in a dish. Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
