How to make Bhatura

Learn how to make Bhature.


In Indian cuisine bhature is served with punjabi chhole. Here it's a easy and quick recipe for bhature.


Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time 5 minutes


Ingredients to make Bhature:


1 cup refined flour
1 cup boiled and grated potato
2 to 3 tea spoon oil
Salt to taste
Oil for frying


Method to make Bhature:

  • Mix all the ingredients of bhature and make dough from it. Don't need to add water.
  • Knead it properly and make smooth. Cover it with a wet muslin cloth and keep a side for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Divide dough in equal parts and roll it.
  • Heat oil and deep fry bhatura in it till both sides are golden brown.
  • Repeat the process for rest.
  • Serve hot Bhatura with Punjabi Chhole.
Tips:
  • If you want to make it healthy you may use combination of whole wheat flour, refined flour and soy flour.
  • If required press bhatura with frying spoon at the center while frying.
