How to Make Chocolate Donuts

Donuts are loved by children. Here it's a home made recipe for mouth watering chocolate donuts with chocolate glaze.


Preparation time - 40 minutes
Cooking time - 15 minutes




Ingredients to make Chocolate donuts:


125 gram refined flour
1 tea spoon milk powder
Salt to taste
1 1/2 table spoon butter
2 tea spoon sugar
1 tea spoon fresh yeast
           or
1/2 tea spoon dry yeast
1/3 cup Luke warm water
Oil for dip frying donuts


For Chocolate Coating:


200 gram dark chocolate


For garnishing:


Chocolate vermicelli 
Chocolate chips


Method to make Chocolate Donuts:


  • Mix yeast, water and sugar and give rest for 2 minutes. 
  • Mix flour, salt and butter. Make a soft dough from yeast proven water.
  • Take normal water if required. Cover and keep a side for 20 minutes.
  • Make donuts from the dough. Again cover and keep a side for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry donuts one by one at slow flame. 
  • Drain them on a absorbent kitchen tissue.
  • In a microwave safe bowl take chocolate and let it melt properly.
  • Dip upper part of the donuts in chocolate syrup. Garnish Chocolate Donuts with chocolate chips and chocolate vermicelli. 
  • If you love more chocolaty taste dip them on another side after some time.
