The ginger asian beef recipe prep time: 30 minutes start to finish: 30 minutes 5 servings
Ingredients:
1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 box (5.6 oz) beef pasta skillet-meal mix
3 2⁄3 cups hot water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 bag (16 oz) frozen stir-fry vegetables
Method:
1 In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
2 Stir in sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from skillet-meal mix box), water, soy sauce, honey and ginger. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
3 Stir in frozen vegetables. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover; cook until sauce is desired thickness.
easy variation:
Lean ground turkey is a great substitute for the ground beef in this recipe.
