Filling: Mix the butter, nuts, ½ cup sugar, 1-2 teaspoons orange blossom water, and mahlab well, refrigerate and let stand for a while. You can make a day ahead. Combine the remaining sugar and water, leading to a boil until it reaches the stage of string * (do not stir frequently). Set syrup aside to cool until it is baked Baklava. No piece of butter on top. Cut the dough into a square / triangle / diamond. Place in a preheated oven at 375 degrees and bake for 35-45 minutes or until browned. Remove from oven Baklava. Immediately add the lemon juice and 1 tsp. orange blossom water for cooling and pour sugar syrup over hot Baklava. Let stand 15-20 minutes and then serve hot.
