The Filipino Melon Chiller Recipe It's really good. Next time I'll not use the blender and probably still half the sugar, not sure. Def. can see this being nice to sip on the front porch during the summer. Right now it's making the winter not seem so cold.

Ingredients:
1 gallon water
1 cantaloupe, halved and seeded
2 cups white sugar ice cubes, as needed
Method:
Scrape the cantaloupe meat lengthwise with a spoon or a melon baller and place in a punch bowl; add the water and sugar.
Mix thoroughly until all the sugar is dissolved. Chill with the addition of plenty of ice cubes.
