Mocha Flavor is loved by everyone. Here it's a homemade recipe for delicious and eggless Mocha Walnut Marble Cake. Means a great taste of mocha and vanilla together with the goodness of walnuts.


Preparation time - 10 minutes
Baking time - 25 minutes
Makes - 250 grams. - approx.


Ingredients to make Mocha Walnut Marble Cake:


100 grams refined flour
80 grams powder sugar
75 gram butter 
1 tea spoon baking soda
1/4 tea spoon soda bi carb
1/2 tea spoon vanilla essence
1 table spoon cocoa powder
1 table spoon instant coffee powder
1 tea spoon drinking chocolate powder
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 to 1/2 cup luke warm water


For icing:


1/2 cup chocolate truffle sauce
2 table spoons icing sugar
1/4 cup chopped walnuts


Method to make Mocha Walnut Marble Cake: 

  • Mix 1/2 tea spoon refined flour with chopped walnuts. 
  • Sift refined flour, baking soda and soda bi carb together for 2 to 3 times.
  • Beat butter and sugar together and add refined flour mixture to it occasionally. Mix well.
  • Divide it in to 2 parts. Add vanilla essence to 1 st part.
  • First of all mix cocoa powder, drinking chocolate powder and instant coffee powder to 2 table spoons warm water. and mix it in the 2 nd part.
  • Add warm water to vanilla portion. Be care full while adding water. Better should be thick.
  • In a greased and dusted baking tin pour big drops of vanilla better and chocolate better alternatively. Sprinkle walnuts over it.
  • Repeat the process for remaining. At last tap the tin to remove air bubble.
  • Bake the cake for 25 minutes at 160`temp. in preheated oven.
  • When done, remove from oven and place it over cooling rack. Let it cool properly at room temp.
  • When ready spread chocolate truffle's thin layer over the cake and sprinkle icing sugar or walnuts over it. Both can be sprinkled at the same time.
  • Mocha Walnut Marble Cake is ready to eat. make thick slices from it and enjoy.
Tips to make Mocha Walnut Marble Cake: 


  • Mix 100 grams single fat cream and 125 grams dark chocolate and cook for 2 minutes in microwave oven to make chocolate truffle sauce. Coffe powder can be added.
  • For better marble effect use square or rectangle cake tin. So that slices can be made as bread.
  • Always soak the cake with plane water or sugar syrup before icing.
