Cheese cake is different type of cake made by cottage cheese. It's a very easy recipe, can be used as birthday cake also. You can say that it is "no bake cake".
Serves - 8 - 10
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 15 minutes
Ingredients to make Cheese cake:
Powder sugar | : | ¾ - 1 cup |
Salt | : | A pinch |
Gelatine | : | 1 table spoon |
Custard powder or corn flour | : | 1 ½ table spoon |
Pineapple juice | : | ½ cup + 2 table spoon |
Cottage cheese | : | Of 2 litre milk |
Cream | : | 150 – 200 gram |
For garnishing: | ||
Pineapple jelly | ||
Whipped cream |
- Mix sugar, custard powder, orange juice and gelatine together let it cook in double boiler or microwave oven till gelatine melts properly. (If it is on fire cook at slow flame.)
- Let the mixture cool, when it is ready to set mix crumbled cottage cheese in it. Add pineapple essence and mix it properly.
- Beat the cream and mix it in above mixture.
- Pour in a round cake tin. Refrigerate for at least 2 – 3 hours.
