800g apples
100g sugar
100g butter
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Ingredients Pastry:
150g icing sugar
180g margarine
1/2 egg
2 tsp custard powder
300g plain flour
Method Filling:
- Chop apples finely. Boil chopped apples with sugar, butter and cinnamon powder. Stir till apple filling is soft and thickened.
Method for Pastry:
- Beat icing sugar, margarine, egg and custard powder together in mixer till all sugar has dissolved. Add plain flour and mix well to form dough. Remove.
Method:
- Divide dough into balls. Press 1 ball of dough into small tart mould.
- Pour in apple filling and cover with 1 flattened ball of dough. brush suface with beaten egg. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C.
