- 1 1/2 tbsp ghee
- 2 1/4 cups grated apples
- 1/4 cup grated mava (khoya)
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
- a few drops of vanilla essence
Hot oil in a wide non-stick pan, 5 to 7 minutes on a medium flame, add apple and cook while stirring constantly.
Add mava, mix well and another 2 to 3 minutes to cook on a medium flame while stirring constantly.
Add milk and simmer for 7-8 minutes while stirring twice in between.
Sugar and walnuts, mix well add a medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes or until all moisture evaporates cook while stirring constantly. Keep aside to cool.
Add vanilla essence and mix well.
