- To Be Mixed Into A Paneer Stuffing
- 1 cup grated paneer
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 1/4 cup boiled and lightly mashed green peas
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
- salt to taste
- 3/4 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- a pinch asafoetida (hing)
- salt to taste
- 4 whole wheat bread slices
- oil for deep-frying
Divide stuffing into four equal portions and keep aside.
A clean, dry surface and place a piece of bread stuffing evenly over a portion of the spread.
Place a slice of the bread, press lightly and cut diagonally into 2 equal pieces.
2 Repeat with remaining ingredients to make more pieces.
Each piece in the batter until it evenly all sides in hot oil and deep fry on a medium flame until the slide is coated pakodas color light brown and turn crisp, dip both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
