- Semolina (rawa/suji) 2 cups
- Cashewnuts,chopped 5-6
- Raisins 1 tablespoon
- Ghee 3 tablespoons
- Sugar 1 cup
- Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
Heat one tablespoon ghee and lightly fry the cashew nuts and raisins. Set aside the remaining ghee in a deep pan and cool.Heat semolina on low heat and sauté, stirring constantly, until the color turns light brown. Add cashews and raisins and mix well. A string of consistency to make a syrup with half a cup of water Heat sugar. Add green cardamom powder. Add roasted semolina and mix well. To set aside, covered, to cool slightly. Laddoos to the shape and set aside to cool completely. Serve when cool and dry. Stored in an airtight tin for a few days it can be.
