- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup fine cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
- 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Procedure
- In a bowl, combine sausage, egg, crumbs, 1/3 cup milk, and ground sage and thyme. Beat with electric mixer at high speed for 5 minutes. Shape into about 3 dozen small balls (about 1 1/4-inch diameter).
