Gather these ingredients that are needed to prepare palapa:
- 1 bundle of spring onion (approximately 20 grams)
- 1 red onion
- 1 thumb-sized ginger
- 10 pieces of bird’s eye chili (you may add more if you want a spicier palapa)
- 1 tbsp salt
Follow the following steps for preparing palapa recipe:
1) Wash the spring onions in running water and remove the roots. Then, cut them into small pieces.
2) Chop the onion and ginger in small pieces.
3) Grind the ingredients using pestle and mortar.
You may then transfer the palapa to a side dish container. Palapa leftover may also be refrigerated.
